The top two in Group D meet at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday, having already reached the last 16, and City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that he will look to utilise some of his squad players with Saturday's clash with Premier League leaders Arsenal in mind.

Bayern Munich:

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has warned his side that Manchester City will be dangerous opponents.
City face the reigning European champions tomorrow evening in Germany, and Guardiola is wary about the quality of City’s squad.

He said: “Tomorrow will be a very dangerous team and game. Manchester (City) have unbelievable players.
“Within ten minutes they can get three or four chances without any problems. We have to really lookout for that.
“My players have to really concentrate and be aware of this situation.
“We have a big chance to be first in the group and this obviously would be very good for us in the knockout phase because of the home match. And that is what we have to aim for.”

Team News: Arjen Robben is unavailable because of a knee injury, while Philipp Lahm (thigh) and Bastian Schweinsteiger (ankle) missed out against Bremen. However, Franck Ribéry and Claudio Pizarro returned to action and Xherdan Shaqiri was named as a substitute for the first time since early October. Mario Götze picked up a knock in Bremen but Guardiola is optimistic he will be available.

Manchester City:

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is preparing for tonight's UEFA Champions League Group D match at Bayern Munich with thoughts of the Premier League meeting with Arsenal that follows it very much in mind.

Pellegrini said: "Tomorrow, we will see the XI that starts.
"Of course, it was one of the most important things to achieve – qualifying for the next round already and not deciding that here in Munich. So we will see tomorrow.
"Of course we are thinking about both things – firstly to do a very good game tomorrow, which is very important for us, and also what will happen in the tough game we have against Arsenal on Saturday."

Team News: Matija Nastasić and Stevan Jovetić are sidelined with calf injuries, while Gaël Clichy has not travelled to Munich due to a minor foot problem. Yaya Touré is suspended.
