Chelsea meet Manchester City in Wembley semi-final 14-04-2013

information of Sunday's hotly-anticipated encounter between Chelsea vs Manchester City.

Venue : Wembley Stadium
City: London
Referee:‬ C. Foy‎
Competition : FA Cup 2013

The FA Cup semi-final throws up a mouth-watering tie between two of the country’s top teams.  For most this would have been a fitting final, with the other semi-final filled with much weaker sides but it gives the underdog a chance of the final and this will be the real test.

Chelsea have won four times in six seasons, including a 2-1 victory over Liverpool in last season's final, while Manchester City defeated Stoke City 1-0 in the 2011 showpiece.

City have negotiated their way through this year's competition more easily, having swept aside Watford, Stoke, Leeds United and Barnsley without even conceding a goal.
Defender Micah Richards (knee) has returned to fuill training, but this game may come to soon for a first team return, whilst Jack Rodwell (hamstring) and Maicon (knee) are both likely to be missing.

Chelsea also began impressively with an emphatic victory over Southampton, but they were then given a huge fright by Brentford before emerging triumphant after a replay.
and having beaten Manchester United in the F.A Cup by 1-0 playing at home.
Ashley Cole (hamstring) and Gary Cahill (knee) are close to first team return, but this game may come too soon for the defensive pair. Midfielder Oriol Romeu (knee) will miss the rest of the season.

 Kick off : April 10, 2013 7:45 PM BST
Venue : Juventus Stadium

Referee:‬ Carlos Velasco‎
Competition : UEFA Champions League

Bayern Munich travel to Turin on Wednesday night knowing that they have already won their domestic Bundesliga title after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 at the weekend with many makeshift players.
Bayern are already champions in Germany after a weekend win over Eintracht Frankfurt kept their lead at 20 points with just 6 games to play.  They have won 11 straight Bundesliga games and are a class above domestically this year.
Javi Martinez is available again for Bayern after being suspended for the first leg, but Toni Kroos injured his adductor in Munich which means there is likely to be a reshuffle in attack, with Arjen Robben wide on the right, Thomas Muller drifting inside to occupy the No.10 role and Franck Ribery wide left.

Juventus have been in fine domestic form and are 9 points clear at the top of Serie A.  They have won 4 straight league matches and look set to win their second straight title.
Juventus will be without Stephan Lichtsteiner and Arturo Vidal for the second leg clash in Turin following their first-leg bookings, as the Bianconeri look to overturn a 2-0 deficit against newly-crowned German champions Bayern Munich.

Match BARCELONA VS PSG UEFA Champions League Wednesday, April 10th 2013

Barcelona-Paris Saint-Germain 10-04-2013

information of Wednesday's hotly-anticipated encounter between BARCELONA Vs PSG.

Pre Match
Kick off : April 10, 2013 7:45 PM BST
Venue : Camp Nou
City: Barcelona
Referee:‬ B. Kuipers‎
Competition : UEFA Champions League

Barcelona will be hosting this match against PSG for the 2nd leg. In the first leg, it was a really close match between the two sides.
Barcelona are strong favourites for this one and their home form has been scintillating this year.  They have won 11 straight in the league and in the last round against Milan they dominated and won the match 4-0.
Lionel Messi will need a late fitness test, but he isn't the only concern for the home team in this one. Pedro and Adriano both need to pass fitness tests, while Javier Mascherano and Carles Puyol are both absent.

Paris Saint Germain will be looking to play their best football if they were to beat Barcelona. They had a quite good match in the first leg and defended quite well. Thiago Silva was in fine form, keeping Messi at bay most of the time, but Messi still managed to score. PSG will need to get them on the counter and play like they did in the first-leg. If Messi does not play, then PSG has got a really good chance to go through, but they will still need to defend well.

but Blaise Matuidi is suspended after picking up his third booking of the competition in the first leg.

Competition : UEFA Champions League

Galatasaray has been poor at the start of the Champions League group stages but managed to hang on and qualify to the quarter-finals. In their first leg match against Real Madrid, I felt they didn’t play that well, the final result was 3-0 to Real Madrid.
Galatasaray striker Didier Drogba, who won the Champions League title last season with Chelsea, is in good form ahead of the match having scored twice in Saturday's 3-1 win over Mersin Idmanyurdu in the Turkish Super Lig.

Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz is ruled out of the Champions League quarter-final second leg clash against Real Madrid through suspension.

Real secured a 3-0 advantage in the Champions League quarter-final first leg at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu but will face a hostile crowd in Istanbul as they bid to make their 24th semi-final appearance.
Madrid are missing Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso, who picked up late bookings to rule themselves out of this match.  Many think this was a ploy to wipe the slate clean in time for the semi-final but Mourinho seems to have gotten away with it this time.

Real Madrid host Turkish team Galatasaray in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

Wednesday, April 3th 2013, Real Madrid will meet at home, Galatasaray, in Uefa Champions League. In this match, Real Madrid are favorites to win the match against those from Galatasaray. In Primera Division, Real Madrid is on 2th place with 62 points, and Galatasaray, is on 1th place with 53 points in Turkey Superliga.

Real Madrid has been playing well in the Champions League. Their only lost was against Borussia Dortmund in the group stages playing away, the score was 2-1.
Mourinho also indicated that Iker Casillas would not be involved against the Turkish champions despite returning to training following a hand injury.
Raphael Varane and Fabio Coentrao are though expected to return after missing the Real Zaragoza league game with slight muscle injuries and Xabi Alonso, Sami Khedira, Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria will start after being rested at the weekend.

Galatasaray has been poor at the start of the Champions League group stages, as they lost 2 matches, one against Manchester United and another against Sporting Braga.
Galatasaray have won 3 straight away games in the Champions League, scoring at least 2 goals in each of those wins although this is the arguably the toughest away game they would have faced this season.
Johan Elmander is available for Fatih Terim's side, but Engin Baytar and Aydin Yilmaz are both missing.

Possible lineups:

REAL MADRID: Lopez; Arbeloa, Varane, Ramos, Coentrao; Khedira, Alonso, Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo; Benzema.

GALATASARAY: Muslera; Eboue, Semih, Nounkeu, Riera; Altintop, Melo, Selcuk; Sneijder, Drogba, Burak

Competition : UEFA Champions League

Bayern Munich host Italian giants Juventus in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
Both of these teams are leading their domestic leagues coming into this tie. As it is now, Bayern Munich lead the Bundesliga by a massive 20 points, while Juventus are nine points in front of Napoli in Serie A.

Bayern Munich were last years finalists in the Champions League, which they lost to Chelsea in the Penalty shoot outs. Their last 5 matches in the Champions League has been good, despite losing to Arsenal 0-2 playing at home, where it didn’t really matter as they went through on Aggregate.
Team News: Bayern will be missing influential midfielder Javi Martinez via suspension but aside from that they are pretty much at full strength and have a plethora of excellent talent to choose from.

Juventus hasn’t lost a match in all of their Champions League matches and will have the confidence to qualify to the next stages.
Team News: Mirko Vucinic is recovering from flu, which means Fabio Quagliarella and Alessandro Matri are likely to be Conte's preferred striking partnership, although Vucinic could be fit to feature.
Stephan Lichtsteiner, Arturo Vidal and Claudio Marchisio are walking a discipinary tightrope as a booking incurred here would mean they miss the next match.

Possible lineups:

Bayern Munich: Neuer, Lahm, Van Buyten, Dante, Alaba, Gustavo, Schweinsteiger, Muller, Kroos, Ribery, Mandzukic

Juventus: Buffon, Barzagli, Chiellini, Bonucci, Pirlo, Vidal, Pogba, Marchisio, Asamoah, Vucinic, Matri

Paris Saint Germain host Spanish giants Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
Paris Saint Germain are currently first in the Ligue 1 table. Their last 5 matches in the Champions League has been really good, they haven’t lost a game in 6 match in a row with 1 recent draw against Valencia, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Team News: Ibrahimović, previously suspended for this match, is available after UEFA reduced his suspension. Thiago Motta is expected to miss out through injury, while Lucas Moura is fit again.

Barca come into the game with relatively poor recent away form - by their own high standards, having won just twice from their last eight matches on the road.

Team News:Adriano and Carles Puyol did not travel with the Barcelona squad to Paris. Barcelona will welcome back Xavi and Jordi Alba who have been nursing injuries and also rested a number of stars including David Villa, Iniesta and Busquets.  They will be without Pedro however who is suspended.
And the Spanish side are also boosted by the return of their coach Tito Vilanova - who will be on the bench for the first time this year after he returned from America last week following cancer treatment.

Possible lineups:
PSG : Salvatore Sirigu, Maxwell, Silva, Alex, Gregory, Verratti, Matuidi, Chantôme, Pastore, Lavezzi, Ibrahimović
